Zodiac Week Ahead Readings: December 31, 2023 to January 6, 2024

Common messages addressed transitions, self-examination, payment of debts, gratitude, and accomplishments.

Aries

You may have the chance to do a little traveling or do something that is off your beaten path (The Fool).

Taurus

This week ahead reading is intended for those born under a Taurus sun, moon, or rising. It was completed with the Illustrated Bestiary. Finding the place or situation you find most comfortable will be important this week (Sea Turtle). The cards advise you to make a new start in at least one aspect of your life (Sea Eagle). You may have the opportunity to examine and break apart the past, especially those things you regret (Monarch Butterfly).

Gemini

This week ahead reading is intended for those born under a Gemini sun, moon, or rising. It was completed with the Universal Celtic Tarot. Reflecting on your actions and mindset will be important this week (Judgment). When it comes to interacting with people, the cards advise you to use your intuition. The voice in the back of your head will be telling the truth (High Priestess). It is possible you could end the week feeling as if you need to “keep yourself to yourself,” and that is perfectly acceptable (4 of Pentacles).

Cancer

You may have been putting things off (Knight of Acorns). The 7 of Shells advises you to not get distracted. You need to stay on task and focus. It is possible that you will be faced with changes or a new situation that you will need to adjust to (5 of Shells).

Leo

This week ahead reading is intended for those born under the Leo sun, moon, or rising. It was completed using the Gateway to the Liminal Spirits Oracle. Love and romance are important this week, even if it’s recognizing who is right or how to keep your self-love bright (Mandrake). Cedar advises you to acknowledge your support network. Not only is it a good time to thank them, but you may do a it of leaning on others as well. You may feel that transition is taking place or soon will. Accept change and work with it, not against it (Time).

Virgo

This week ahead reading is intended for those born under a Virgo sun, moon, or rising. It was performed with the Everyday Witch Tarot. Paying bills or making sure everyone has what is owed them will be important this week (6 of Pentacles). Be very clear with your communication, both spoken and written, as well. The Queen of Swords advises you to speak precisely and leave nothing to chance. Otherwise, (and maybe even though) you could wind up in a costly misunderstanding which will be difficult to unravel (10 of Swords).

Libra

This week ahead reading is intended for those born under a Libra sun, moon, or rising. It was completed with the Medieval Scapini Tarot. Avoiding conflict will be important this week (5 of Wands). You may also need to focus on spreading your money out to cover potential unexpected expenses (5 of Coins). The possibilities you face for the week are getting the time and energy to organize things you have allowed to become chaotic (King of Wands).

Scorpio

This week ahead reading is intended for those born under a Scorpio sun, moon, or rising. It was completed with the Moon Baby Tarot. Taking care of financial commitments and agreements will be important this week (6 of Pentacles). Death advises you to accept and embrace change. You’re probably in a transition period and it’s easier to just roll with the changes. You may also gain an ally this week. The 2 of Cups tells you there is a partnership coming your way.

Sagittarius

Capricorn

Speaking your truth will be important this week, lest you are ignored (Speak Up). If you are feeling down or as if you have more negative than positive in life, Count Your Blessings is the card for advice. Do just this. Look at all the great things you have going for you. Aquarius

This week ahead reading is intended for those born under an Aquarius sun, moon, or rising. It was completed with the Messenger Oracle. Patience will be important this week. Being demanding or trying to rush will not be effective (Be Patient). The advice of the cards is to investigate or identify your fears (Know Your Fears). You can face them far better if you understand where they come from. Following the advice of the cards will help you move forward and make progress along your path (Stay Strong).

Pisces

You have so much. You just need to acknowledge this. The cards advise that you be in control of your own life (You’re the Boss). Make your own choices and follow through with them–this may be the hard part. It is possible that you will have the opportunity to really enjoy a good conversation or entertainment experience that allows you to laugh and feel joy (Laugh).
