Zodiac Week Ahead Readings: December 10 to 16, 2023

This week’s Zodiac readings contained a nearly equal number of Swords, Pentacles, and Cups or their non-Tarot equivalents. The Ace of Swords, 4 of Swords, Page of Cups, and Page of Swords or their non-Tarot counterparts appeared more than once. Of the Major Arcana or their non-Tarot equivalents, the Magician, Chariot, and Temperance appeared several times. Common messages addressed finances, planning or staying to a plan, and new projects or directions.

Aries

This week ahead reading is intended for those born under an Aries sun, moon, or rising. It was completed using the Tarot of Tales and Legends. Being independent and focused on your personal goals will be important this week (9 of Pentacles). The Page of Pentacles advises that you begin the decision-making process for something that will involve money or your physical possessions. So, if you’ve been putting off a purchase, this may be a good week to begin thinking about it. It is possible that you will make some decisions and have to work hard to keep on that path, but remember why you chose as you did if you need encouragement (the Chariot).

Taurus

This week ahead reading is intended for those born under a Taurus sun, moon, or rising. It was completed with the Urban Crow Oracle. Honoring your memories will be important this week (Memory). Be careful about grudges, though. The cards advise you to sort through grief. This may be old or new. If not dealt with, grief can pull you down (Grief). It is possible that you could also be dealing with dishonesty this week. Be on guard against anyone who may try to take advantage (Trickery).

Gemini

This week ahead reading is intended for those born under a Gemini sun, moon, or rising. It was completed with the Gateway of Light Activation Oracle. Thinking in an innovative manner…with the future in mind will be important this week (Arcturian Light Codes). The cards advise that you accept that you have had time to heal. Embrace your healing (Higher Heart Activation). You may have the opportunity to learn something new (Gaia Gateway Activation).

Cancer

This week ahead reading is intended for those born under a Cancer sun, moon, or rising. It was completed using the Black Cats Tarot. Putting things in order will be important this week. Your attention to detail will be beneficial (the Emperor). The cards also advise you to take some time away from the activities that cause you stress. It’s not permanent, just a breather (4 of Swords). The outcome as shown by the 2 of Cups will be a renewed or strengthened partnership (romantic or work…perhaps both).

Leo

Finding a new way of thinking about your situation will be important this week (Ace of Swords). The Page of Coins advises you to begin the planning process for a new financial endeavor…this is your “think time.” You may have some success as early as the end of the week, but know that everything takes its own time (9 of Cups).

Scorpio

This week ahead reading is intended for those born under a Scorpio sun, moon, or rising. It was completed with the Modern Witch Tarot. You may be feeling frustrated or emotionally unfulfilled (5 of Cups). Addressing these feelings will be important this week. The Fool advises you to jump in and do what your heart is urging you to do. You may only get this one chance. The possibilities for the week lean toward self-expression and using your creative skills to put your life in order (Page of Cups).

Sagittarius

New projects or forging ahead to begin something exciting will be important this week (Ace of Fire). The Page of Air advises you to be innovative. Learn a new skill or way to look at what you do (Page of Air). You may be rehashing your past decisions and sorting out how they panned out (Judgment). The other cards seem to be telling you to learn from your mistakes and get on with living from there.

Capricorn

Taking control of a situation will be important this week (the Magician). The 8 of Pentacles advises that you perfect your skills in either work or an area that is important to you. Remember there is always room for improvement. You may have the need to organize your workspace or create a more focused environment to maximize your productivity (King of Wands).

Aquarius

This week ahead reading is intended for those born under an Aquarius sun, moon, or rising. It was completed with the Morgan-Greer Tarot. Tapping into your creativity will be important this week (Page of Cups). The Ace of Swords advises you to turn things over in your mind and find a new way of thinking about something and then use this new viewpoint to proceed. Keep the previous cards in mind as you find your plans delayed or you encounter an obstacle. More than likely this will be a financial stumbling block (Knight of Pentacles Reversed).

Pisces

This week ahead reading is intended for those born under a Pisces sun, moon, or rising. It was completed with the Messages from the Spirits of Nature Oracle. Being flexible and meeting obstacles through adaptation will be important this week (Moss). Lotus advises you to revisit and revive a plan or path that you moved away from. That may not have been the time, but now is. You could be embarking on a new journey soon as well. This could be something completely new that you will need to “tame” in order to progress (Wilderness).
